🌸 Bloom Update
February 27 - March 4, 2024
We're 35 days into almond bloom since the first submission of green-tip to Bountiful Bloom. Full bloom submissions are still coming in and we're seeing more petal fall submissions across all regions North, Central, and South.
Daily observations of bloom continue to be consistent in the Central region of the state followed by the South, then the North. You can see this below for the 2024 Almond Bloom showing the progression of bloom stages reported by day👇.
Bloom submissions received over the last week show the Central, South, and North in full bloom with increasing reports of petal fall.
📣 If you're in the South or North regions, we'd love your support with bloom observations to increase coverage in these areas.
A look at bloom sentiment 👇
Bloom sentiment this year appears to follow weather patterns, specifically precipitation. On days with precipitation bloom sentiment submissions trend toward average to poor bloom, and on days with no precipitation sentiment submissions shift from good to excellent.
