March 10, 2025 Bloom Update πΈ
Welcome to your fourth and likely last weekly Bountiful Bloom Update for the 2025 growing season. If you missed last week's March 3, 2025, Bountiful Bloom update, you can read it here.
Let's dive in!
πΈ Bloom Update
March 4 - March 10, 2025
Most trees are leafed out and done with bloom, with some stragglers in petal fall, mostly later-blooming varieties like Butte, Padre. Nutlets are forming and are growing more visible each day. Conditions this past week were generally good across the valley, with the exception of a rain event on March 5th (more on this later in the weather portion of this week's update in the Precipitation section).
For this week, weather forecasts are calling for rain and wind in the middle to the latter half of this week. We will see how the little nutlets fare.
Consistent daily bloom observations have come from the Central region of the state followed by the South, then the North. You can see this below for the 2025 Almond Bloom, showing the progression of bloom stages reported by dayπ.
Bloom submissions received at Bountiful Bloom show all regions are at nearly the same stage, petal fall.
π£ If you're in the South or North regions, we'd love your support with bloom observations to increase coverage in these areas.
