📈 Almond Crop Receipts down over 2021
July's position report is the twelfth and final receiving month of the 2022/2023 marketing year. Total crop receipts to date: 2,571,123,853 lbs down -12.01% over last year.

- July: 2,518,851 lbs up +6.55% over June
- June: 2,363,914 lbs

July's total shipments: 186,665,737 lbs up +10.18% over July last year and up +0.03% over last month's June shipments: 186,604,779 lbs.

📈 Crop Receipt Projections
Following the December position report we run a forward projection on ABC form 1 crop receipts every month to get an idea of the total size of the crop.
The methodology we use for our crop receipt projections differs from our in-season machine learning forecasts. Our 2022 in-season forecasts are complete and have not been updated since we released a final forecast in July.
