🌸 A Bloom update, where are we
Bountiful bloom went live for bloom observations on 2/1/23.
The first bloom observations, came from the Central and South growing regions of the valley on 2/3/23 reporting green tip, followed by pink bud on 2/9/23.
The North growing region's first bloom observations were submitted on 2/8/23 reporting green tip, and continued through 2/11/23 per submissions received.
Fast forward to today, 2/15/23, and almond bloom across the state feels ready-pop. We currently estimate full bloom in the next 5-7 days. Dependent on temperatures, more cold days could prolong full bloom. You can track temperature in Bountiful, Weather.
Below you'll find bloom stage observations through 2/15/23 for Central and South growing regions.
Bountiful Bloom is lacking bloom observations in the North this year. If you're in that region, please help us out by submitting a bloom observation a day and tell a friend too. Every observation counts!
