August's position report marks the first month of the 2026/2027 marketing year.
Crop receipts to date: 401,853,217 lbs, up +55.14% over last year.
The resulting 2026 Carry-In is 470,655,138 lbs, down -4.76% from the Carry-Out per the July 2026 position report.
*Note: ABC finalized Loss & Exempt for 2025/26; actual L&E of 2.87% versus the 2% forecasted L&E figure, resulting in a negative adjustment of 23,531,399 lbs on Carry-Out.
August New Crop and Carry-In from 2025 bring the 2026 beginning Total Marketable Supply to 864,471,291 lbs, up +17.19% over last year.

26/27 % Sold to date: 79.53%, down -13.26% over last year
August's total shipments: 190,095,929 lbs, up +20.46% over August last year.
